Title: starting issue: starter relay/solenoid/remote switch or whatever u call it
Post by: 808Ducati on August 04, 2013, 02:22:14 PM
2003 M620  hit the start button and get nada
bypassed remote switch (as Ducati calls it - I call it a solenoid) and it starts just fine thanks
so starter itself is good
replaced remote switch thinking that was the issue and still nada (that's the groan moment)
check the actual start button and there's no corrosion, looks good and I jumped it and still nada
so, it could be the actual wiring between the start button and the remote switch
or?  Is there something else in the circuitry?  a relay?

Sometimes the wires that pass the steering head can break.
