Changing the engine in my Willys Wagon and decided to take my time on it rather than rush through it.
Picked this up to drive while I'm working on it and then to hold onto for anytime The Wife or I need to haul something around that won't fit in her Mini.

Paid $1,000 for it. ;D
and it came with a title? [clap]
No title.
And a screwdriver for an ignition key.
Should I be worried?
(Yeah, it has a title but I don't have it yet. Previous owner hasn't gotten the title in the mail yet b/c they bought it less than a month ago. But there's nothing to worry about.)
One Thousand Dollars?
Cheapest one I could find on this continent is 10x that price....

If he was willing to spend more money it would go forward too
:D

Wife?
When did you and Jobu get hitched? ;D
I like a good Suburban. Dad's got am '87 that is in really nice shape. They're great for hauling large stuff and lots of people.

Great job!
Deal King is proud.
so...what is wrong with it that they are selling it after a month?
dead midgets in the wheel wells were starting to stink.
I really liked the 90's era Suburbans and Yukons for field rigs. We ususlly pick up the most recent outmoded body style cheap with maybe 50k soccer-mom/grocery-getter miles and then beat the snot out of em. Got over 300k miles on one and averaged about 250K on the others. That looks like a nice one.
Nice, great deal.

[laugh] I was going to ask that same question.
So that's what that trip to Vegas was all about.
What happens when you put it in a microwave?

Nothing.
They bought it to use in a movie and then needed to unload it quickly because they were headed back to the other coast after they were done. [thumbsup]

that depends, the microwave that he was presented with can do things outside our meager laws of physics

Of course the truck won't take off from the treadmill... it's wheel-driven. Only the airplane takes off, because it's air-driven. [cheeky]
Which wins on a treadmill: a Hydrofoil or a hovercraft. lol
