anyone wanna feel this guy out to see if he might be the perp?....looking for an older project 900 sounds suspiciously like " I am looking for a clean frame to move all the shit I just stole onto " in the way that I read it....perhaps I am just being negative and associating bad things when thinking the worst. Title: Re: Stolen Bike Alert Post by: 696DCRider on August 08, 2013, 10:59:55 AM I always thought we were much more immune to theft than the Jap bikes. Guess this changes things a bit. I'm not sure if this bike had an immobilizer or not, but I always assumed it would be a pain in the ass for a thief to steal the latest gen Ducs since a bunch of expensive parts have to match.

Title: Re: Stolen Bike Alert Post by: 696DCRider on August 08, 2013, 11:49:39 AM Ah, I see. Yeah, it's a sweet bike. I like what he did with it a lot.

Title: Re: Stolen Bike Alert Post by: potomacduc on August 12, 2013, 01:53:23 PM What a nicely done bike and even without reading about it, one glance lets you know it was a labor of love. Any bike thief is a scum, but the perp(s) here seem to be scummier than most.
