After quite a bit of consideration, I recently picked up an Audi A4 2.0T Quattro special edition. Manual trans and fun to drive. Very nice car and given that dealers are generally starving, it was pretty cheap.
I've had it for 2 weeks and it has a whopping 83 miles on it.
It's not as fun to drive as the Monster is to ride.
Uhhh hello? Where's the pic?
It's just an A4. A pic is required? ;D
Did you mean a pic of the Monster?
Both! Seeing is believing! Nothing exists without a picture! ;D [popcorn]
let's see some A4 pr0n up here... pronto..
had a 98 A4 for a couple years, a lot of fun til I had to let her go.

I worked on Audi's for 3 years and those new A4's are bullet proof. The 2.0L does not have near the problems the 1.8L did. Congrats man.
I bought an Audi A4T Quattro a couple months ago. Not a special edition but I freakin love that turbo. I'll grab some pics and post up some A4 porn as well.
sweet.
2.0t is a great engine, but DO NOT use cheap fuel.
since its direct injection, fuel never sprays onto the valves, and if low quality fuel is used it will cause carbon buildup on the valves that is very difficult to remove.
BTW, after the first 500, get a revo flash.. makes a HUGE difference.
Revo flash? Wassat?
I don't have pics but here's the site:

Got the gray one.
I think this is what he's talking about.

Congrats on the car. I have the TT in a 3.2, damn fun to drive.

what is this "cheap fuel" you speak of? [laugh]
Ah, I'm not interested in increasing HP. If that did something to improve mileage I'd be all over it.

If you do get a flash make sure you let the dealership know everytime you take it in for service. Audi is always coming out with reflashes for the ecm and will do them automatically. If they reflash your flash gets wiped out.
Just a little advice.
I got to max out an A4 diesel on the Autobahn last year. ;D [evil]

Hon, I am so pale that I blind people when wearing a bikini. Thus, those pictures have been declared dangerous and unsuitable for public distribution. I'm not allowed to post them here.
I'm trying to find the non dangerous ones. There don't seem to be many....
Nice ride indeed. Still need real pics though :)
I have a 2001 A4 30v 2.8 Avant that I absolutely love.
Here it is the day I picked it up:

i have an '01 A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro
this car has been great, 140K and climbing...
winters have not been an issue since i've been driving this car.
good luck with yours!
My wife just got a new 2008 A4 2.0 to replace her 2006 A4 2.0 which replaced her 2002 A4 1.8....trend, you decide.
Great cars. Lovely to drive, not too terrible on gas.
I am going to be getting a new car fairly soon (to compliment my 2002 WRX wagon and my Lotus Exige S) and have owned several Audis in the past....it will either be a RS4 (used) or a new M3 saloon...decisions decisions...

Looked great. Tires a little more worn, more miles on the odo, but great.
