I know this is a super weird problem? I cant figure it out.. I thought I would throw this out to you guys for ANY suggestions.
I have akrapovic carbon fiber slipons. Ive been riding with the db killers out, the whole time. Today, i decided to put them in, just to get some noise relief! whew!
However, im noticing a pretty notceable knocking sound ONLY from the right muffler? It literally sounds like its from the very end of the exhaust hole. Sounds like wood knocking on wood sound? very light, but noticeable. It is not in sync with engine rpms at all?!?!?
It almost sounds like something is loose is the cans. But if that was the case, i would believe i would hear that sound with the db killers out?
any ideas?
Is the db killer loose or improperly installed?
im assuming they are? they slide into place, then there is one screw that must line up perfectly to tighten the silnecer to core. Its an air tight fit.
