Title: Spanner wrench
Post by: Fearnot69 on August 20, 2013, 07:58:07 AM
Hey all,
Looking for part #88713.1038. Fits the rear hub of S4RS. Anyone know the size? Can I get it from any bike shop? Is it just a generic spanner wrench? Any suggestions? Just want to be able to adjust chain if needed. How often do you all check you chain tension generally or how many miles?  Thanks in advance. Sorry for the novice question. First bike with a chain.

There are many aftermarket sources.  CA Cycleworks over on the sponsors links has them or Corasair to name a few http://corsair-industries.com/parts/Ducati%20Tools/Ducati%20Chain%20Eccentric%20Adjusting%20Tool/ (http://corsair-industries.com/parts/Ducati%20Tools/Ducati%20Chain%20Eccentric%20Adjusting%20Tool/)

Did you find the service manual?  If not PM me.

Ordered one from MotoSports for 17.99 + 5.00 shipping from Christiansburg, VA. should get here quick. The spanner wrench for the S4RS should be 87 mm with a 8mm notch.
