I'm not trying to remove the spring itself I'm trying t remove the Swing arm and the shock and pivot rod connect to it so I need to detach them to remove the swingarm. I'm pretty sure I just need to get an metric hex in through the hole on the side of the swing arm and remove the bolt that goes through the swingarm that they attach to before I take the swingarm off. I just want to see if there's anything I should be aware of or if I'm on the right track here.

'05 620 Post by: Howie on August 21, 2013, 08:16:17 PM Remove top bolt, remove bottom bolt, through the hole you noted in the swing arm. Be aware that the bottom of the dog bone is held on with the same bolt. Parts will fall out of the dog bone, keep them in order. You do need to support the rear of the bike in a way that will keep the bike from collapsing on you, not by the swing arm. This is a good opportunity to check and lube the swing arm bushings, rocker arm and dog bone.
