Title: 696 vs 1100 evo timing belt covers
Post by: jjjrules on September 11, 2013, 06:00:37 PM
Hi all,

I just upgraded from a 696 to an 1100 evo and I have kept the carbon cam covers from the 696.

Can anyone tell me if they are the same as the 1100 evo before I have to pull the tank on my beautiful new bike?

I've lined them up as best I could and they do look the same.

Thanks in advance

Hello.

I don't know the answer to your question.

But if you go to the Commonwealth Motorcycles link under the sponsor list over there <<  to the left....  their site has OEM parts ordering with online parts manuals.  You can compare the part numbers of the stock covers there, if they're both the same you can be sure you're in business.

I suspect they'd be different however.
