This one's popular with local riders, and with good reason - the curves just go on and on for the better part of 70 miles. There's very little traffic and rarely any cops, but since it's farm country, you'll occasionally come across a pickup truck or random cow in the road. NOTE: After this post went up, we received an e-mail from an astronomer - and rider - at Lick who asks that fellow riders restrict their noise and speed within a few miles of the observatory so as not to disturb the astronomers, most of whom sleep during the day. And TCK! can now completely kiss street riding good bye for the summer.
