Hi All, I modified the thread title and pulled the text of the original post. The Rizoma Rear Sets have the brake switch mount. Also ran into a new issue. I have the Zard twin shotgun side mount pipes. Due to the way the pipe is built there is no way to use these pipes with these rear sets without some modifications.
I am having to add 1.5 inches to the length of the Zard mid-pipe due to it hitting the bake return spring on the rear sets. I will also have to modify the bracket on the pipes to allow them to site 1.5 inches further back. Aesthetically it will look almost the same but it is a pain in the arse....
I posted this just to let others know that the two do not match up easily.
rizoma rearset has brake light switch or something.. I have them and there was no additional mods needed.
Rizoma rear sets for my 09 M1100 have provision for the rear brake light switch, pretty sure yours will too [thumbsup]
