Title: '00 M750 clanging sound
Post by: J-Cee on October 14, 2013, 03:30:49 PM
Rejetted carb. Runs good but at higher rpms I hear a clanging noise. Almost like a chain sound. Chain is good. Brand new. We're talking 7500+ rpm.

How many of the sound deadening pucks are left in your cylinder fins?

I'm thinking fin ring.

It could be...

but I'd sooner think it's the fins ringing.
