so, i put the termignoni slip-on kit, with 'performance air filter' and ducati
fueling map on the 848 corse. the sound it makes is music, but it was LOUD,
so over the weekend i put the supplied 'db killers' in. funny thing ... in addition
to being quieter, it appears to pull harder in the rev range i mostly use (4k - 8k)
AND its definately running cooler.
perhaps the ducati map is still lean? and adding some back pressure makes it just
rich enough to run cooler? and a little back pressure causes the
cylinders to fill more effectively in the mid-range?
comments or observations welcome.

It makes sense that it would be tuned for the dB killers as that is the only way it would be street legal, esp in Europe butt also in US.
With the modified map, my understanding is that it's sold
