Title: Aftermarket clocks Post by: angler on October 30, 2013, 07:04:22 AM So, I've done the requisite site searches and I'm still not satisfied.
I need to replace the clocks on my 2005 S2R. It has been reflashed, but the immobilizer was left functioning (against my wishes). Shop said they stashed the key chip in the key switch. I do have another ECU that was correctly flashed to remove the immobilizer. I just don't trust a shop in the area to reset the trim. I'm also moving in 30 days and my experience with the local shops is they can't turn anything around in less than 60... So, do I need to swap ECU's to the immobilizer disabled ECU to get new clocks? Mine are toast. Moisture damage. Also, who's clocks are the easiest to plug into the harness? Title: Re: Aftermarket clocks Post by: DRKWNG on October 30, 2013, 01:29:52 PM Where are you moving to?

Title: Re: Aftermarket clocks Post by: angler on October 30, 2013, 02:30:24 PM I'm running without them now! I haven't really missed them except for maybe the temp gauge. I am convinced it is completely impossible to get pulled over in DC if you are white. True story.
DRKWNG - Moving to AZ. Tucson to be exact. I've been trying to get off this damnable coast for years. I'm from there (5 generations worth) and own property there. |
