Hi,
I have Monster 796 ABS 2012 which I bought this spring. Today I noticed 2 loose hoses on the left side. Please refer to the picture below. The big hose sucks in air when the bike is running. What are these hoses and what should I do about them? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Go to Ducati.com > dealers and services > maintenance
Download a spare parts catalog for your bike (choose language USA)
Page 90 shows what those hoses are all about.
Reconnect and be happy or buy the parts that enable removal of the whole thing [thumbsup]
Thanks a lot for your answer!
It seems that the hose in question is number 7 (overflow house?) in the manual.
However, I can't find where I should connect it. So, my question is where should I connect the overflow hose running out of evaporative emissions canister?
It can be directed up where it has been before I noticed that it isn't actually connected anywhere.
The left side of the bike will look somewhat like this (the bike below is not mine):

Also what about the small tiny cable at the very bottom. It seems to have been like this when I bought the bike. Also, I don't see any place where I should connect it to.
I don't know how the routing is supposed to be. You can wait for someone else to tell you that, get a workshop manual CD from your dealer or ask them to show you.
