A buddy of mine who just got into motorcycling for the first time chose to buy one of the last brand-new FZ8's over waiting for this 9 because he discovered that they made the seat height something like 1.5" shorter or something like that. So, for his 6'4" frame, that was a big deal. Seems like the suspension really holds the fZ9 back. The fueling issues with the HS held it back, otherwise in led in almost every other category, except value.
