Title: TPS Settings for fixed/non-calibrated sensor
Post by: Jordan1234 on November 11, 2013, 10:54:53 PM
Team - I got a technoresearch adapter and it turns out my TPS sensor isn't the type that can be calibrated. Its a 2002 M750i.e.

Using the technoreseach tool, I've confirmed that when I back out the idle stop screw all the way it read ~0deg.

What should I aim for? 2.5deg at idle?

From what I've read/understand, the process is:
1) Adjust idle stop screw to appropriate degree on TPS
2) adjust idle mixture via bypass screws and FPGA settings to 1200 RPM hot
3) balance cylinders

Thanks!!!!
