I ran across this:

So I decided to build one:

It took about an hour or so to knock together. I haven't glued it up yet though. I'm debating if I want to so it's easier to partially break down for storage. Total cost was about $30. In the mainland, it will be a couple bucks cheaper.
I thought this would be worth sharing for a boring weekend afternoon with it turning cold out. Point of interest though, If you use a hand held PVC cutter (mega pruning shears), they don't cut square. But that's mostly trivial since there's only 4 ends that can be seen on the gloves and boots holders. That's easily fixed with pipe caps.
nice, I might have to build one. I've already done one of these for my mountain bikes

Maybe something bigger for the helmet to go on so it doesn't crush the liner?
You could cross-drill at strategic pipe to coupling joints, use some bolts to hold it together.
Maybe a muffin fan on a timer, blowing air into the pipes and out strategic points to dry the gear?

How about some heated copper wire for those cold days 8)

I totally agree. I thought about using a 2" to 1" concentric reducer and trying a hair dryer to see what kind of heat transfer it gets. Thanks for the input. I built it off of the plans to see how easy it would be but I already saw a lot of potential to tweak the design. I already have to make one for my father in law for x-mas.
