Hi guys, don't know if anyone has the answer to this question yet but if someone does that would be great. Basically, I am wanting to run heated grips and an electric jacket and do not want to tax the stator. Figure the bike is probably pulling 70 watts on high beam so it seems there should be some wiggle room. Always ask those that are smarter than myself. [thumbsup]
You will be fine as long as you don't operate at low engine speed for long periods of time.

The 2013 service manual stated idle 13.5V/@3500=14.5V . . . output was just given as 750W . . .

My apologies; correct output is 520W and 14.5V +/-0.5@3000RPM; my mistake, gave you an older spec (it seems it was corrected in today's update)
