Title: LED tail light INT. turn signals Post by: bachus2001m900dark on December 02, 2013, 11:19:54 AM Hello all,
I have had my ducati monster 900 for about a year now. Previous owner installed an aftermarket tail light (led with integrated sequential turn signals) unknown brand I was a good boy the other day before a ride and checked my rear signals. without motor running the left worked and right did not,,,, not too long after they both would not work. I cleaned a bunch of connections which needed to be done anyway. and then i realized that they did work correctly but only with the motor running. I am wondering if these lights are supposed to work with out the motor running. I am not sure if mine did prior to me checking. any help would be greatly appreciated. IIRC Instructions say engine must be running for light to work properly.

I had the motodynamic (same) tail light with integrated sequential turns... At first the lights worked with out the motor running, then since I found out I need to replace my battery soon, I also found out that the turn signals only work when the bike is running. Does it have the sequential flasher, or just solid when it flashes? Title: Re: LED tail light INT. turn signals Post by: Rob Hilding on December 14, 2013, 01:35:10 PM Just installed one, and it does not work with the engine off....
But works great while running [thumbsup] Title: Re: LED tail light INT. turn signals Post by: dufukincati on December 14, 2013, 03:42:40 PM Just installed one, and it does not work with the engine running..... ???But works great while running [thumbsup] Title: Re: LED tail light INT. turn signals Post by: Rob Hilding on December 14, 2013, 05:36:01 PM ^fixed :P

My carbie's MD taillight only turns on when the engine is not running, no turn signals or brighter when brake lever is pressed. When the engine is running everything works correctly. |
