What the best way to get to the vertical header exhaust bolts on the S4R? They're not in the easiest location.....
A selection of 1/4" extensions and a universal-joint.
Break them loose with a box wrench first.
wtf is a box wrench? or is it just merican for a spanner?
Closed end spanner

Got them off but good God the top bolt is damn near impossible to get to. Small window through the trellis frame. This exhaust from StradaFab better be the bees knees and I know it is. [drool] [drool]
Box wrench or box end. Asking for a spanner in Murrica, when you need a box end, will usually get you a puzzled look. :)
MonstaS2R, are you using the extension and universal joint to get to it from the rear of the bike? I find it much easier that way. Depending on the universal, sometimes a bit of masking tape around them will eliminate any excessive floppiness.
Remember, you gotta be smarter than the machine. ;)
Those are a pain. I got mine off with short ratcheting box ends.
JM
You mercans speak funny. Never heard of a box end. What he needs is a ring spanner, and a good dose of bad language.
ring spanners...?
Crazy Aussies.
Last time I say anything - promise
Do the ends of the spanners / wrenches look more like a ring or a box?
Prosecution rests!

Yep. They cover their engines with bonnets and put stuff they bought in their boot.
