Title: Removing Termi full system and replace with stock exhaust. any concerns?
Post by: superkain on January 06, 2014, 01:38:09 PM
so, I rashed up my termis and am going to replace the Termi full system I have now on my '07 S2R1000 with my undamaged stock exhaust that I have laying around the garage. Do I need to worry about anything? Can I just remove and replace? I heard that the termignoni came with a seperate ECu or something. Anyone know for sure?

Its the internet.  Little of what you read is for sure  ;)

But IMO, it'll be fine  [thumbsup]

If the "full" system included the ECU change (mine did on the 07 S4RS) even putting the db-killers in the cans caused the bike to run poorly, so something even more restrictive like stock exhaust should, IMO, have a negative effect. Did you keep the original ECU?
