Title: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: DucDucGoos on January 14, 2014, 10:18:49 AM http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/suzuki-recursion-turbocharged-concept-photos/ (http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/suzuki-recursion-turbocharged-concept-photos/)
Turbo'd, lightweight, pretty stylish looking, turbo.... Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: DesmoDiva on January 14, 2014, 11:06:51 AM Not bad.
Seat shape looks nice too. Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: DucHead on January 14, 2014, 12:12:53 PM That won't come to the US. The seat height is over 22" and the bike is not 8' long. ;D
Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: DucHead on January 14, 2014, 12:14:47 PM Besides, I'd rather have this modified Suzuki GS1200SS.

Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: DRKWNG on January 14, 2014, 04:01:26 PM I think it might have a turbo.
Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: SDRider on January 14, 2014, 06:38:03 PM That is pregnant dogin' for sure. That would definitely get me back into a Japanese showroom. [thumbsup]

[thumbsup] Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: red baron on January 14, 2014, 09:33:53 PM (http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd86/scbaran/cd88f63df1bb65d22c4fea877846bf74.jpg)
Interesting new Brembo. Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: seevtsaab on January 15, 2014, 05:17:31 AM That is a fine looking motor cycle IMO, many of the details have an understated look compared to the
edgy transformer look that usually prevails. I'm a late comer to the small displacement - turbo scene having driven Saabs since the turn of the century. Some nice midrange grunt coupled with excellent fuel economy when ridden gently would have some appeal. Small turbo's are really practical for the street IMO. Is it me, or does this bike looks aimed at a more mature crowd? It just doesn't scream 'Fast and Furious' to me. Show me some luggage and a pillion and I'd start saving my pennies. Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: abby normal on January 15, 2014, 07:36:43 AM i'm a little leary of forced induction ever since my STI cracked a piston
at ~40k miles. it seems like the obvious steps of forged internals (pistons, rods, crank) are easily skipped to keep the price down. Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: abby normal on January 15, 2014, 05:25:02 PM agreed.. it has a sleek classy appearance not ricer boy look. I am very curious to hear it [drool] Abby- was your sti modded? Nope ... Bone stock. And Im 52 ... Not a wacko driver. Well Known problem with the sti motor. Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Not getting excited about concepts anymore. If it looks that good in the metal, I'll be more interested. Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Just got a turbo VW. :P That i'll drive like I stole it everyday. :P :P Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: abby normal on January 16, 2014, 11:00:47 AM the longevity / durability probably depends on a couple of things ... forged / cast internals,
compression, boost. the STI had 300 hp available with 15 psi of boost. that, combined with crappy cast pistons was a recipe for doom. car went from using essentially no oil to 1 quart every 1000 miles ... that was my signal to move on to something less stressed. Title: Re: Suzuki but BA..... Do want Post by: Spaghetto on January 16, 2014, 04:25:49 PM The design seems a little incomplete with that fairing still on there...
