Unusual destination for retirement houses. Tuscany is definitely the place where most tourists are looking for retirement houses, but Calabria is definitely cheaper. There are some nice places, but, even as an Italian, there are places where I would not feel confident living. They knew that they could get something cheaper and practically on the water in Calabria. I'd take a place there or anywhere North in Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol. |
