Everything went very smooth. Great night. :) The real question is; Would you trade your Evo for one?Title: Re: Monster 1200 Special Event on Tuesday, January 21 Post by: DexterMorgan on January 18, 2014, 08:09:29 PM The real question is; Would you trade your Evo for one? On looks alone, no way! Power wise, thank goodness I can't ride it right now haha. ;) Title: Re: Monster 1200 Special Event on Tuesday, January 21 Post by: Skybarney on January 19, 2014, 08:36:22 AM Cool Beans. I would love the extra HP but I would not trade the extra weight for it. Pretty sure one can get an Evo down to 360lbs. wet.
Especially if I bought BST wheels...... [drool] [drool] [drool] Can't justify that spend this year though. Title: Re: Monster 1200 Special Event on Tuesday, January 21 Post by: HotIce on January 21, 2014, 01:39:44 PM OK, now I know why not Saturday. Saturday is at Munroe/SFO ...

Power wise, thank goodness I can't ride it right now haha. ;) I'm aircooled Monster all the way for looks, but I just saw the new Monster for the first time at the Vancouver Bike Show a couple of hours ago, and it is much nicer looking in real life than it comes across in pics. I can't wait to see one with Termis which will undoubtedly look a lot better because presumably they'll have a nice, tidy CF heat shield to replace that weird coily, plastic stock thing. Let the mods begin. Title: Re: Monster 1200 Special Event on Tuesday, January 21 Post by: red baron on January 25, 2014, 07:23:45 AM Can't justify that spend this year though. There is NO justification for motorcycles. ;D Title: Re: Monster 1200 Special Event on Tuesday, January 21 Post by: duccarlos on January 27, 2014, 01:22:00 PM How was the turn out Arrick?
I was in Foster City on that day, but like many have hinted at, I was actually working and left before the unveiling at Munroe. I'll try to catch it in Atlanta. I get almost 50mpg at 75+ and can make it from Orange County to Downtown San Diego in 55 mins. Name another vehicle that can do that! |
