Title: Windscreen, Seat, Exhaust Post by: 916er on January 30, 2014, 12:46:13 PM Hello All, I have a 2009 1100S and I am thinking of adding three items and I would like to see if anyone has tried these items and their thoughts. 1) I would like to add a Givi A780 windscreen and wonder if anyone has tried it and what they think? Does anyone recommend a better screen? 2) I would like to purchase the DP touring seat and am wondering if anyone has one and what they think. Does it give more fore/aft wiggle room? Is it taller? How comfortable is it? 3) And finally, I am considering two pipe options: LeoVince GP style slip ons or the Leo Vince LV1 slip ons. Are they the same loudness and would I need a power commander? Leo Vince says no but I an curious about anyone's experience. Mostly, I am interested to know if they both sound the same. Thank you all in advance for your responses. Eugene

I had a set of Leo Vince cans on my first monster, I cannot speak to sound differences but the bike ran just fine with the stock mapping. YMMV! Title: Re: Windscreen, Seat, Exhaust Post by: Skybarney on January 30, 2014, 09:21:31 PM I went with a Saddlemen seat. The split gel is incredible an dit is hard to want anything else. So hard in fact despite it being sent back for a third time for fitment issues I am sticking with it. They make a horrible seat pan for the 2013 so this time around I sent them my stock seat and they are going to use that pan to make it fit right.
The Saddlemen seat uses pop rivets and crappy 20 cent bushings to keep it off the seat rail. To date all the bushings failed and I have permanent marks in my subframe from the pop rivets hitting the aluminum after the rubber failed. Hopefully putting the Saddlemen on the stock pan will make it right.. If not say good bye to 400+ dollars.....
