What's the small ring around the front axle on the left-hand side of the bike? ABS? I also would like that rear stand! Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: red baron on January 31, 2014, 04:35:53 PM ABS for the europeans, Americans get it next year.
Local dealer (Moto Forza) has the Rivale in stock already. That 3cyl 800 is a beast, fast revving with tons of power, coupled with light weight. However let me be the first to say it, that fender has to go. I like the concept but I see a lot of potential here for the aftermarket folks to make something much less bulky....

Although, the pin won't fit a Ducati. Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: DexterMorgan on January 31, 2014, 07:07:06 PM Wow, that thing looks awesome. I agree that it does look better than the new monster. DAMN.

(Ooops, sorry I'll get off your lawn! :D) Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: Dellikose on February 01, 2014, 07:30:22 AM The bike is obviously awesome...but, I just can't get myself to like those small little 'wasp' back ends.
I'd still love to have one. Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: Bishamon on February 02, 2014, 07:04:42 AM better looking than the new Monster 1200 IMHO.... Agreed! Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: TWDucfan on February 02, 2014, 07:41:53 AM Proportion is all wrong, the Monster 1200 is pretty bad but the Dragster is worse.
Looks like a dog that is scared with tail between his legs :o :o [thumbsdown] [coffee]. Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: duccarlos on February 03, 2014, 08:13:51 AM what a beauty...now if only they had a better dealer network I'd know what toy to buy recently one of the best dealers in FL started selling MVs. If they continue to come out with bikes like this, I'm sure the dealer network will increase. Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: iRam on February 03, 2014, 09:50:52 AM I hope the 1200 designers are taking notes. This is a demonstration on how to properly icorporate the radiator to the bike. I like the look of the docked tail! Real agressive like a Doberman or a Boxer.

[thumbsup] Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: duccarlos on February 13, 2014, 07:14:55 AM The problem here is the lack of dealerships, so we'll be waiting for later this year before seeing it in person.

With the 13 inches of snow we got yesterday mixed with rain and sleet; and the inch or two expected to come tomorrow you will need more than snow chains! http://us3.campaign-archive1.com/?u=12fed9d7e779ce9359fbc8263&id=79a8d5c57c&e=4504bf0114 (http://us3.campaign-archive1.com/?u=12fed9d7e779ce9359fbc8263&id=79a8d5c57c&e=4504bf0114) I'm guessing its more just an indoor eat some grub and drool kinda event [drink] Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: Skybarney on February 14, 2014, 09:59:46 AM I feel for you guys in the snow and ice. We were ballooning the last two days in fairly warm weather. Yesterday when we landed we had several police cars and a couple of fire trucks show up within a few minutes.
When you do a fast vertical spot landing the balloon drops out at 500-600fpm. When landing like that you have to go long and hard on the burners to flare to a soft landing. So someone saw a balloon crashing, on fire and called 911. Everyone was pretty cool about it though and I think we may have even ended up with some firemen taking their gals this season. [thumbsup] Tomorrow? rain. Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: sgollapalle on February 22, 2014, 02:48:53 PM Wasn't able to make it out last week with the rain and ice. Went up today and here are some pics. It looked pretty sweet in person! Sticker price was $14,798

Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: danaid on February 27, 2014, 09:05:42 AM A Brutale was my first bike choice but of course no dealership near by at the time. I now have a local mega dealership that carries MV, and they are fully stocked, but they are asshats to say the least, customers usually purchase there only once.
Last week was my first time seeing the MV 's up close. Beautiful! The dragster is cool but their upcoming sport tourer, the tourismo veloce, looks like what I'm needing as my next bike. Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: DarkMonster620 on February 27, 2014, 01:19:15 PM danaid, have you tested the HyperStrada? Give it a try . . .
Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: danaid on February 27, 2014, 11:08:18 PM danaid, have you tested the HyperStrada? Give it a try . . . I have not tested the new hyper as of yet, Definitely i'm wanting a smaller tourer. I had a chance to ride a friends BMW R1200 that he is selling, and it was lighter and more nimble than it looked, but it still was a big bike. loving the looks of the MV tho...Title: Re: MV Agusta Dragster 800 Post by: red baron on March 06, 2014, 06:14:50 AM Wait for the MV Turismo Veloce if you're after a tourer. The dragster is not that.
