Title: Need a jet block for BDST 38 carb
Post by: Big Paul on February 23, 2014, 08:50:43 AM
Mission impossible...jet block for 1994 M900 carbs...before I buy a set of used carbs that have the same problem.

Also...anybody run a 42.5 pilot jet on the bike? better ?

thx

Paul

When you say jet block are you referring to the piece the main jet screws into?

Welcome Paul.
Whats the problem with the jet block?

With the slow/pilot jets, I know of people who have played with sizes from 35 to 42.5 on an M900.

I note that a sponsor (California Cycle Works) carries 37.5 slow jets. Maybe 37.5-40 sizes could give the compromise between winter/summer tune depending where you are and your airbox/intake mods.
Worn needle jets also give a rough tune. The brass oem type oval out pretty quickly it seems.
