So I'm looking to get rid of the coffins on my 696.  I've started looking around for new Masters and have a few questions.  If I'm way off on any of this, just let me know I'm crazy and I'll move along.  I've read this page (http://www.oppracing.com/pages/articles_brembo_master_cylinders/) (http://www.oppracing.com/pages/articles_brembo_master_cylinders/)), explaining the advantages of radial masters, but I was wondering what you guys had to say about it.  Let's compare these two products:

Radial:

Is it worth it?

Well if you are going to change at least go for one with an adjustable lever unless you are still planning on getting CRG levers. Radial levers are nice, we put them on just about every project bike here. In fact all of them except the 696. Once we put CRG levers on we didn't feel the radials were nesecary. They will improve the feel and look a lot better but we were trying to go more economical with our 696. Although I won't be surprised to see GP's on it sometime in the future. I put a link to our website for the GP Brake M/C, ours is cheaper for now. I now have the Beringer radial M/C's on my SS which I will take with me to each Ducati I ever own.

Another option, if you are mainly looking to get rid of the coffins is to go with a late model Ducati M/C, similar to the one you posted but comes with adjustable levers. It shows we are out of stock but I think we just got in some of these in black.

The main thing is to get rid of the coffins.  I want to try out some clip-ons, but I've heard it's a pregnant dog to get everything setup right with coffins.  So I figured I'd try and change out the brake/clutch to save some room and make the bike look slick.

I got clip-ons with coffins and had to get the spacers for it, but I upgraded to remote res. pumps this spring and stainless lines and that made the world of difference to me. Just make sure you get the right size pump is all I got for advice.

Pump as in the Master Cylinder size (16mm, 19mm) or something different.  As far as I can tell, for two calipers, I need at 19mm M/C.

I have the 19x18 Radial "GP" Master by Brembo from Motowheels for my Brake Setup. I have dual front calipers - the Brembo Goldlines.

Comments about my terrible choice in grips will earn you a time-out.

If you're looking for a cheaper alternative find some master cylinders from the 999/749.  They're radial and a big improvement over the coffins.  I found mine from a dealer for 280 shipped.  Another plus for these is the internal bleeder inside the MC which makes bleeding the brakes that much easier.

Also don't be afraid to contact Chris at Ca-Cycleworks.  He has many options in stock and if $ are tight has some great suggestions on what to get at the salvage yard that will fit.
