Title: Mad doc tail? Who sells them
Post by: Ontario_Monster on July 09, 2008, 08:30:57 AM
Ok who has a MAD DOC tail with the integrated light?  Where did you get it?  No one here in Toronto seems to carry them so it looks like I'll have to order it from the US, seems the prices vary pretty radically from $190.00 not instock though, to 250.00.  I don't want the CF one though.  So who do you recommend dealing with?

Cheers

I got mine directly from MadDoc (Italy) via phone and email.

now that I ordered mine...

Moto Wheels has a few in stock. highly recommended vendor.  buyer beware; some on here have recently said the product is not worth 2 1/2 bills and there may be fitment issues.

The Madduc kit is not a direct bolt on kit for the late model monsters. It will require some fabrication to mount the tailight on late model bikes that have the have the rear light mounted to the plastic undertray.
The lights are not plug and play either. They must be spliced in.

Apologies for the resurrected thread.

I didn't need to do any splicing at all, my MD fender eliminator connected directly to the plug in the stock wiring harness & everything worked well. The fitment issues were no joke. I have a thread somewhere explaining what went on.
