Hi there fellow Monster riders!

My name is Henry and I bought a 2006 Monster S2R800 last November with ~12800kms. So far the ownership experience has been a bit of a roller coaster ride.

I love the way the bike looks, sounds, and handles. The bike came with the full Arrow exhaust, modified airbox, frame sliders, bar end mirrors, and aftermarket turn signals. The only mods I've done are bar riser, adjustable levers, and Sportmax Q3 tires. However, I've unfortunately also had to deal with a warped and leaking fuel tank, pre-mature valve guide wear, and as of this past weekend my transmission is now stuck in 1st gear. The tank has been replaced with a used one that's not leaking (I've been lurking and keeping an eye out for that aluminum tank group buy) and the valve guides have been replaced by the dealer as well.

Anyways, I'm planning on digging in to the transmission issue some more to see if I can fix it myself, and will probably be posting a new thread on it soon to hopefully pick your collective brains  ;D
