Title: TRADITIONS
Post by: calscrazy on July 09, 2008, 06:40:20 PM
i asked bryant about this to help the new people as i was a year ago. here are some TRADITIONS:
1) there are two weekend trips twice a year each. ARKANSAS and HILL COUNTRY
2) there are several day rides to MUENSTER.
3) the westies ( folks living west of the dallas county line) have dinner every other thursday somewhere in tarrant county. all are
invited and it doesn't matter where you reside.
4) the easties usually do lunch but there is no set schedule. so pay attention to the board it can be on short notice at times.
5) there will be the other occasional trips, day rides, or get togethers but as far as i can tell these are the most common.

feel free to ask any questions. someone here usually has the answer or is a big help. make sure you have thick skin because you will get teased for virtually anything but it is all in good fun with no harm intended. TRUST ME!!
now someone put this at the top please.

Excelllllent!  Great post.  There's just one more thing: you're also likely to get teased/harrassed if you don't wear a helmet.  We're just tacky that way  [evil]

well, sometimes I don't wear a helmet,  you know.. if I'm just going down to the bars...  that's cool, right?

other traditions:

-- easties tend to flashmob.  no organization.  no planning.  no forethought.  it's a "dub at 6"  or "monk in 30 minutes" kind of planning.

-- l'smart doesn't wear pants after 10pm.  you MUST account for this in your plans.  do not come crying to us that you were "surprised".  you knew...    yeah...  you knew.

oh, and nobody eats meat or animal products.  all vegan, so if you are new, stop eating meat.

cheers,
Svoloch

We usually do one or two Casino Run / Race watch days during the year...which reminds me I need to figure out a weekend and get one of these going.

I think that only comes once you pay for the upgrade from girlfriend to wife, but not with all versions.

Reality check. No. Neither. Jennifer was a girlfriend for a long time before "upgrading" :P to wife. I did (and still do) make any and all breakfasts and don't get me started on no one knowing where the kitchen sink is in our house. I have rinsed off and washed every glass, bowl, cup, plate, utensil, pan, skillet, etc. ... every one of them since day uno. [bang] I guess that is what you call a tradition. >:( Rich, you want breakfast? Forget the girlfriend, go to IHOP. [bacon] [clap]

That would be  [moto] TRACK DAYS  [moto]

I almost hate to bring this up because it is too D*** Hot for any now - and just reading this will cause some people to try & drag their knee on LBJ in the HOV TODAY !!!

OK BACK TO TALK OF BREAKFAST !!
