I'm really rooting for a Rossi return... if he can tie up MM for a bit then we might actually have a decent race on our hands.

The two Andrews are doing alright [thumbsup].
Concerned about the trajectory of Cal's career.

Same old story.  When it matters, MM has .3-.5 a lap on anyone.  I think we'll see MM, Rossi, and Lorenzo on the podium.  Rossi has work to do but he'll get himself up there with race pace being very similar between the top guys.

I'm hoping that he doesnt get caught up in all that traffic and can get close enough to the front to harry the rest of the guys early.

My prediction...

1. MM
2. ...Dovi...  :D
3. Pedro -- after he drags his ass all race and finally passes a few people in the last 2 laps
4. Crazy Joe

Not sure about Rossi.

Hoping Crutchlow puts together a decent race.

Bautista crashes out and takes Lorenzo with him  ;D

Sounds like the MM/JLo show was awesome! [thumbsup] [popcorn] I cheated and read the results on SBKplanet.com. Can't wait to see it on my dvr later... wife's b-day activities today.

And yes DP... I'm still alive. Sort of. :P Spent more time in the hospital than on the board since Valentines. Good to be alive. Almost wasn't. But I have the hard to kill gene in my family. ;) ;D

Anyway, glad to see JLo put a good one together. Hope the rest of the season comes close to this race. Hate to see anyone walk away with the whole season and spend my time watching the 7-8-9 place battle. If I want boring I'll watch AMA/DMG... oh wait, is it even being shown on TV?

Best race since Lorenzo/Rossi 2009 Barcelona.  Hopefully we'll get another good one next round at 2014 Barcelona.

Moto3 was an insane race though.  Great fun.

That was a cracker!  [thumbsup]

Lots of clean combat, props to both of 'em for running bar to bar.

That was a good race! !!!!!

The first few laps this season of almost all the races have been a blast to watch.  This race they took it to the end.

I don't think I could watch j - lo win a race.   But I'm glad he showed up.

It was sad watching Iannone get passed.  I knew he wasn't going to work his way back.

It was sad watching Crutchlow go down and take out Bradle.

The speeds the Ducati's were laying down were impressive.   (If only they could put that speed to use. )

Good habit to be in. ;D Ever since I turned 50 (a while back now... [roll]) I regularly do the same thing looking for my name or the name of a friend. [laugh] [laugh]

Back to racing stuff.

Good to see Rossi doing so well and working so hard to impress (not that he doesn't work hard anyway) to get that contract extension with Yammyhammer. JLo needed that kind of race and result today to keep his name fresh and productive with the exec that signs rider contracts and listens to pleas for more $$$. If the rest of his season continued in the fashion of the first 4-5 races (or worse...) he and Pedrobot would be spending a lot of time together away from the paddock crying in their beers. [beer] :'(

Can't wait to the house shuts down and goes to sleep tonight so I can stay up and watch the fairing banging action of MM & JLo. [popcorn] [bacon]

We could be in for some good racing for the rest of the season if JLo shook off his troubles.  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

from what I heard during the race, is that Bridgestone made tires with a more "ample" variety of motorcycles to suit and not only the Hondas . . . comment was from Argentinian commentator . ..

Omg what a great race. I've not been Lorenzo fan but today, I was hoping he would beat MM.  Great race indeed.
Very glad for Rossi on podium.  Wish he was in the top two fights in the race.
Wow Bradl got the raw end when he got hit by crutchlows runaway bike.

Moto3 - now that is always fun.  Won't write any spoilers here but I urge you to watch :-)

Yeppers, that was a great race. As the pics above show, it was a good old fashion, fairing banging dust up starting about 7 laps to go all the way to the checkered flag. JLo must have liked his set up and tires for a change... of course he's no slouch when it comes to racing at Mugello. You could tell he really wanted to make it 4 wins in a row at the Italian GP.

I wonder if Marc got all pissy and finger wagging after the race about J-lo bumping into him?    ;D

The last of those 3 pictures is from last year when MM bump-passed JLo. They didn't touch that hard this race. (the curb paint also gives it away)

They allowed all the teams to use larger diameter brakes. That gave the Yamahas some help. The Hondas didn't quite need the help stopping.

If you have a GP sub, check out this video.  Its cool to watch Vale and Jorge talking about the race half way through.  They seem to get along pretty good now.

It's nice to see the conversation between the riders like that.  It's fun watching MM seeing the love Vale got :). Pretty sure Barcelona will show him great love but mugello is always fun to see the track invasion.
