Anyone have recommendations for armor to wear under jeans, underwear(hip/butt) and knee protection?
I have these:

I used them for a year and ultimately decided to stop. The good was that they were the soft CE armor so they didn't feel that annoying or obstructive on the front of the knee. Forcefield brand is supposed to have a good reputation, AFAIK. Also, the band was tight enough to stay in place.
The bad was that their fabric bunched up due to my leg position on the monster and, with the bunch up of my riding jeans, would cut off circulation in the back of the knees on long rides. I am currently riding without knee pads and considering my options.
So I would say that if it weren't for that, I recommend them. The quality and fit where definitely there. Your riding position or body type may avoid the issue I had.

I haven't actually tried them, but they get pretty good reviews...
I just got a pair of dainese. Really comfy!
I use MX armour under baggy squid style Kevlar jeans. The MX armour is bulkier though. In winter I use heavy duty armour with a warm liner and lighter stuff in summer. Cheap and well proven.
Like Koko I use mx gear but these https://www.troyleedesigns.com/products/5260-02 (https://www.troyleedesigns.com/products/5260-02) are not bulky and can go under any jeans although I wear Kevlar jeans, they tuck into my boots and are really comfortable and breath really well. I have been wearing the same pair for 2 seasons and although they have stretched a little they still stay in place. Oh and a season for us is a year long! ;D
Haven't tried armoured undies but will be watching this thread with interest.

I've used the Bohn Adventure Armored pants for a couple years now, and can vouch for their quality, fit and coverage area.
The downside is that they are quite *tight* in the crotch area :o (can I say that?), which I've yet to find a good solution for.
Overall I would recommend them as being built to get the job done.
Like 1.21GW - I started off with some of the Forcefield limb tubes - but also did have the behind the knee bunching issue - more on one side than the other for some strange reason.
I like forcefield stuff, so I stepped up and got some of their Zeus knee armor - instead of writing it all out, you can just listen to my dulcet tones tell you (Skip to 1:45 to the url doesn't skip you) - Bonus the yella armor is CE2

[thumbsup] Well done video, S'Panda. Distinctly explained the product characteristics without superfluous commentary. The dulcet tones were a bonus.
I too own forcefield limb tubes and armored shorts and Dainese hard shorts and knee V guards.
I prefer the forcefield armored shorts as they have thicker padding but the crotch feels snug and I usually wear them with a loose pair of jeans.
The limb tubes fit me great but the fact that the actual pad is very short only covering my knee is why I bought the Dainese V knee guards as I wear Dainese in-boots which have little shin protection. The Dainese V guards cover the knee and go down the shin.

I had the Dainese armored under shorts but they were too uncomfortable when sitting due to the armor on the tail bone. I still use these Dainese Knee Guards under Jeans they are great and are not really visible. [thumbsup]
