His approach was unconventional but it was the first frame you could buy and 'chopper-ify' your old 900SS, so there's that. I've met him many, many times and he always had a few ideas in his head which were yet to do.
Right around the time of the market crash, Mat was involved in a serious accident which also added to the folding of 13Choppers. I still have a couple T-shirts and stickers lying around (all used up and stuck to stuff) but they're a fond reminder of a very creative guy who built things a little differently.
