Title: What's the word on voltage regulators?
Post by: Timmy Tucker on July 26, 2014, 04:08:15 PM
So it looks like I'm going to need a new voltage regulator on the bike. Mostly just curious whether I should get the Electrosport or the Shindengen MOSFET. There's not really that much difference in price, but I don't know if one is better than the other. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks.  '99 M750, btw.

Chocolate.

Seriously though, Shindengen Fh020. Works a treat.

+1 on the Shindengen FH020AA R/R. The Triumph Daytona 675 is notorious for R/R issues as well. That left me stranded on the road twice until I rewired it for the FH020 R/R. No problems since. I highly recommend that R/R.

I have a Rick's RR on my M900. Has worked  great for 1-2 yrs. now after blowing my 1st 2.

Highly touted $150 (incl. my shop's markup, if any)
