I don't know what I'm doing, but I tried to find out if one turn signal was busted by using a multimeter.
Is the result '1.68' useful?
I also switched signals and sides to see if the problem is elsewhere. It isn't.
This is a Mini Viper with a halogen bulb and I haven't found a sensible way to open it or even if replacement bulbs are available.
Since we don't know the amperage required by the bulb no definite answer, but a blown bulb would read infinity. Check and compare with the other side.
The setting that gives consistant readings now, is '200' plus what looks and works as a sound signal.
The dead side shows 1 before and after connection.
The live side shows 2.8 and buzzes when connected.
I can't replicate the result from yesterday's test in my first post....
I believe the bulbs are 10 watt.
My goal here is not to find out if the bulb works, it doesn't, but to educate myself in how to use a multimeter.
