Title: going to the track! how do I... Post by: Xanthoria on August 19, 2014, 09:17:32 PM ... change my coolant to water wetter and disable by lights in preparation? M695
Anyone got any video tutorials, or do I need to head to the local co-op moto shop and have someone show me? thanks. Title: Re: going to the track! how do I... Post by: Dirty Duc on August 19, 2014, 09:26:22 PM On a 695... Unless you have the ST2 cylinders and an added radiator +water pump there is no coolant other than engine oil. Water wetter is a poor substitute for oil in my understanding.
Lights are best disabled by unplugging... The fuse also runs the gauges on at least one model. No gauges, no start on an immobilizer enabled bike. Title: Re: going to the track! how do I... It's all in your owner's manual. ... and as stated: no water in your bike. Title: Re: going to the track! how do I... Post by: Triple J on August 20, 2014, 06:42:51 PM You can also just tape over your lights with blue painters masking tape and not worry about pulling fuses. That's what I've always done.

Nothing wrong with the body position. Elbows out would be elbows down with clip ons, but that's not too important. Title: Re: going to the track! how do I... M695 Anyone got any video tutorials, or do I need to head to the local co-op moto shop and have someone show me? thanks. The thing about the lights is mostly to handle, safeguard, or get rid of the potential broken lens in case of a spill. It's all done to protect the other riders from you. |
