Title: Showa twin disc front end for old 750
Post by: dragonworld. on September 18, 2014, 09:15:36 PM
Besides the twin disc setup, are there any marks, engravings or whatever to I/D that the front end is Showa??
It appears that dimensions are pretty well identical to the original single disc Marzocchis! "Ducati" on lower leg casting, nothing on the twin legs!
Curious!? I'm funny like that!
Cheers
Gazza

IIRC, all of the Showa forks say "Showa" on the inside of the lowers.

Odd-ball trivia time:  A close friend had a '99 M750 that used to be a Canadian bike.  Just for that market, Ducati sourced some Paoli forks for the Canucks.  They were visibly identical, but man did the Paoli's ride better!

That's all folks... 8)
