Title: Yamaha XJR-1300
Post by: HotIce on October 11, 2014, 03:16:27 PM
I like it!  [evil]
Am I sinning?
Unfortunately, Fred Flintstone is the responsible of making bike selections for the USA, so this is EU only ATM.

528 lbs claimed wet weight, 298mm front discs, rubber brake lines.  [thumbsdown]

And 1985 called, they want their pencil-thin forks back right away.

2014 model was ~9800 Euro... so over US$12k.

The exchange rate is very close to 1:1 for cars and motorcycles, at least for many EU manufacturers  ;)

A tail chop of that ugly plate mount, Exhaust similar to Boomtubes or a Spark 2-1, Beefier Ohlins forks and some Clip-ons. I'd be in on that.

Like a carbon copy minus some horsepower.

Put some 50mm Marzocchi's and a turbo/supercharge on it. [thumbsup]

Hey Stu, call yamaha could use your help. [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

Love it. The exhaust will have to get some aftermarket treatment, otherwise looks really nice to me.
