Yesterday I didn't get a neutral light, and couldn't start the bike in N with the stand down anymore (I usually let it idle for a few minutes while I get gear on/adjusted).
Is this just a bad Neutral switch, and if so, where is it located? Goes into N just fine, and the green light does flash when the key is turned on.
I don't want to override the stand sensor.
Thanks for any help!

The switch looks like a bolt with a wire attached, on the rear side of the engine, can be difficult to get to.
Either one wire (grounds to a 'neutral' part of the gear box) or two wires (normal switch, engaged by hitting neutral).
If it's a one wire, you can test it by holding it against an exposed metal part elsewhere on the bike.
If it's a two wire, test it by pushing on the 'ball' end.
Before you remove it, check the connections you find for corrosion or lose connectors.
If you're curious, you should be able to find out where it is and if it's one/two wires by downloading the parts catalog from Ducati.com (Dealers and services -> maintenance -> your bike) plus the electric diagram in your Owner's manual (downloadable as above)
