That should be great in an Erie snow storm. ;D
I feel ya Kev...my turn for a new bike comes in 2016 (wife is getting her new Monster spring of 2015)...and I keep thinking about getting a fun car instead.

If you have to get rid of your bike for it, then you'll regret it.

I don't think I care ;D
I've read that first-gen NSX prices are on the rise....
I have other things to drive in snow ;)
Never could get the hang of driving one of those......
(back in the playstation I, gran tourismo era)
Great car, large price tag. But considering it will outright dot most other vehicles costing five times as much.... Not a bad buy.
I'll just leave this here...

Not a bad thought at all.
and a quick google search shows that the car will be ready for you to not leave well enough alone too

No...we don't get rid of the bikes...we just get new bikes to add to the collection.
2012, Multi for me
2013, Ninja 300 for her
2014, Husky TE310 for me
2015, Monster 1200 for her
2016, I want an SBK of some sort...1199/1299 Panigale, 899, RSV4 Factory, RC8R, etc etc...
But instead of getting an SBK, I have been considering an E9x M3, E46 M3, Corvette, RX8, etc etc etc etc...a fun car.
Might be something silly occupying my garage soon, details to follow if it occurs (which would be this week if so)
OMG, me too!
Well, shop, not garage. Basically the same thing.

Lathes and mills don't count! ;D
Tell that to my wallet ;)
Confirmation on the silly thing.
My wife's grandson bought a '92 Miata with no drivetrain so it's going to head here and shenanigans will commence. [evil]

I'm going to give him an old 302 I have kicking around as a placeholder.
Even with that being maybe 250hp at best, in a 2000lb car it will rip.
After it all works, when he can put aside for a better engine we'll swap that in.
Going to take awhile anyway. i figure I'll be doing this as a slow project over the next year or so with him. I'll put not a dime into it unless it's money that would otherwise be a birthday or Christmas present for him. This is all him, I'm just space, tools and labor.
If people can get the 400HP LS6 (I think that's the designation, it's the 6L one that was in the recent GTO) in a 280Z, you can get one in a Miata. The 302 should be good for some serious shenanigans though!

Doesn't look so bad
And I thought I had a chick car
I personally have see over 350hp being pushed out of one of those little girl cars. If your ego can get past the "chick car" thing that little Miata is a pure joy to drive even dead stock it is fun. Tweaked to the hilt and it is a formidable lightweight rear wheel drive and a handful of happiness. There is a reason they race the piss out of them.
If he spent as much money as the Mini cost that Miata will pull the teeth out of horses and the mini won't see anything but the taillights for a second.
And yes, I almost bought one also......

This one will "only" be starting off at around 250hp or so as the 302 I have laying around is fairly mild.
That said I see why these are so much fun even stock, it weighs NOTHING. I went to push it and it moved even when I just leaned against it. [laugh]
