This is gonna get expensive...
Worse than expensive. A whole lotta cars will be waiting for them. At least one manufacturer has told the owners not to ride with a passenger in the front seat until the replacement (not in stock) part is installed.
is the issue that the airbag inflates spontaneously or doesn't work at all?

The issue involves defective inflator and propellent devices that may deploy improperly in the event of a crash, shooting metal fragments into vehicle occupants.

I have two cars on the list :(
Given that my girl has a defective GM ignition that she has been trying to get fixed under recall for six months now I would not hold my breath about this issue getting fixed anytime soon.
Nissan did our 2003 Pathfinder already. [thumbsup]
And here I thought something had happened to Ducatiz and this was a memorial thread.
