This is not my axle, only a similar picture. Anyway, I'd like to know what kind of grease to use and if there are any special reinstall procedures. With regard to the left side of the axle, moving from left to right... the first part of the axle has the threads for the sprocket nut and the splines. The next section (slightly larger in diameter) is coated with some fairly heavy grease. Is this the Grease B, Moly disulfide grease? The third section (larger in diameter than the second) has a coating of clear, very light lubricant. What sort of lubricant is this? Also, does anything need to be done to the inside of the eccentric hub prior to installing the axle?

Sorry if these seem like simple questions. I searched the forum to no avail and I cannot find anything directly addressing this in my service manual.

Thanks!

oh and this is my first attempt at uploading a pic. Let me know if it didn't post

Fixed it for you...

Next time, don't grab the url from the header.  Just right-click on the image and "copy image location."
