When is your bag of Soylent arriving?
We want to know what it tastes like!
[popcorn]
I think the only better name that they could have called it would have been Hitler Milk.
Got a friend who ordered some months ago and is still waiting for it to ship. Let us know if/when it shows up!
I think there is some confusion. I didn't mean here at my house. That stuff is never coming to my house. I just meant that Soylent green is here in our midst. It has "arrived" so to speak.

Oh.
That's kind of a let down. :(

You can always get some yourself.
then I will always be a little creeped out about you
It's people.
That Soylent should come in two flavors. Boy and Girl. I would elaborate but I would have to do so from the ban myself forum. [evil]
Tastes like pork apparently, so I think this should be moved to the bacon related thread. [bacon]
Please link to the claim of pork taste.
I'm skeptical that any powder coming out of a plastic bag can be included in 'pork'.
I'm entertaining the thought that it tastes like two children named Hansel & Gretel.

It's made in California, which means it's made from recycled products like cooking oil, tires, plastic shopping bags and diapers.
Mmmm. Diaaaperrrss... [drool]

10,000? I had no idea. That's very disturbing.
shudders and leaves the room
"A psychiatric examination conducted ahead of his trials concluded that he is not insane but has a "severely disturbed soul." "
I honestly don't know what to say after reading that.
Insane is sooooo 1970's. Manson familyish rhetoric.
Disturbed soul sells books and gets on the Today show.

Which has, ironically, labelled all of the ingredients as known carcinogens.
Mmmmm, pork.

Ha ha, so right, but so wrong on this context...:o
So, being in the "Cannibal isles" at the moment, I thought I'd ask around. (Go straight to the source as it were, while avoiding being in the sauce) anyhow, seems nobody does it here any more. Some further research to be carried out today. See you after lunch.
I wpuld actully try this but from this text on their page "As the primary source of energy for the body, carbohydrates are the largest component of Soylent by mass." This isn't for me. I'm thriving on the 70% fat 25% protein 5% carb keto diet. I'd rather eat pemmican https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pemmican (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pemmican).
Other wise, doesn't seem bad other them the taste.
