Title: I-Tunes help
Post by: IZ on November 05, 2014, 05:21:42 AM
I am trying to download my complete list of I-tune songs on the wife's new I-pod but on most of the songs it says:

"The song could not be used because the original file could not be located. Would you like to locate it?"

Any ideas?

righr click on it . . . a pop up shows . . . select the drive where the music is located and select . . . then a pop up asking would you like for this ...  to find the rest say yes

that is how I have done it

So I pressed "locate"

a box appears with "about iTunes" and "ITunes" in the middle

Clicked on "iTunes" and the computer thought about it but nothing happened?

There's still an exclaimation mark next to the song.

My cousin just mentioned that it means the songs are not downloaded to the computer you are using. Or in a folder not tied to iTunes. ??

I have 3 other Ipods I use on this computer and have never had this problem before?
