Title: No dash, Died mid-ride.. Suggestions?

The turn signals and dash just quit while cruising on my Monster 796, The battery is from when I bought it in 12'
It died a couple times when I went to start it so I threw it on a tender for the past month or so and it started immediately.. Suggestions? [bang]

Maybe worth checking the headlight connector at the steering head for burned out terminals? That's been reported on "new" Monsters as well. Just a thought...

this happened to me a couple times. if its a fuse then check the connections at reg/rec and especially at the coil for your vertical head.  they mount to the frame near the shock and can get loose then ground to the frame and short.
