Title: What spoked wheels are these? Or why Carlos is wrong. Post by: ungeheuer on November 14, 2014, 11:06:23 PM http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=69448.msg1283177#msg1283177 (http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=69448.msg1283177#msg1283177)
the frisbee thingy is an accessorie . . . but those are Kineo .. . Alpina doesn't make SSS wheels . . . No Carlos. These are Kineo(http://www.ducati.ms/forums/attachments/hypermotard/106185d1330467861-wire-wheels-hyper-check-out-p1010251.jpg) These things with the frisbee hub are not accessorised Kineos ... they're some other brand than Kineo... they have conventional spoke nipples quite unlike the gorgeous Kineos....... (http://www.ducatinewstoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/51-1100-evo-SP-1.JPG) So, who makes these frisbee hub wheels? I dont care for 'em. I just like being right [laugh] Title: Re: What spoked wheels are these? Or why Carlos is wrong. Post by: koko64 on November 15, 2014, 12:54:59 AM Which are cheaper. ;D

The wheels with conventional nipples might be, at least in part, a product of the mother company, In-Motion. http://kineowheels.com/ (http://kineowheels.com/) In short, both Ung and Carlos might be correct, sorta.
Title: Re: What spoked wheels are these? Or why Carlos is wrong. Post by: DarkMonster620 on November 15, 2014, 06:05:44 AM Anyhow . . . I did search around and those wheels are, well, a bunch of wheels put together as howie said by D.I.D. and never into production.
Alpina, afaik, doesn't make SSS rear wheels, so, I owe UNG a beer or glass of wine next time I am in town . . . ;D Title: Re: What spoked wheels are these? Or why Carlos is wrong. Post by: Speeddog on November 15, 2014, 09:36:49 AM A close look at the photo reveals a Ducati logo on the '3 O'clock' spoke of the 'Frisbee hub '.
I'd wager it was a DP farkle, so it could have been made by anyone. Title: Re: What spoked wheels are these? Or why Carlos is wrong.
