Wondering if perhaps anyone else has noticed this, particularly those of you who have either owned a carby 2000 model (M600/750) or work on Ducatis professionally..
I have 2 year 2000 harnesses, one M600, one M750. I bought the second one just to confirm it wasn't a fluke. These wiring harness have half the features of a 93-99 model, and half the features of an 01 model, but the parts fiche is inaccurate; it shows the setup of the 93-99 models. I have the fuse box, fuse box bracket, relays and relay holder of an 01, and the pos/neg battery wiring and ground wiring of a 93-99 model. My frame is a NOS 2000 M600 frame and all the brackets and ground straps are where they should be for the harnesses I have.
It created a bit of a befuddled WTF moment when I ordered relays and a new rubber relay holder so I thought I'd pass that along. Kinda surprised it hasn't come up before.
I think a year before or after date is somewhat common.
My 2002 620 came without a clutch microswitch (ecu didn't use it as a safety feature like with the kickstand), while I believe some 2002's and all after that had them.
The parts diagrams are more of a "sorta looks like". You want to go by part#. As I remember, the tach and sidestand switch with safety relay came about in 2001, so the harnesses would be different.
my 99 750 has tach but no kick stand switch, and that doesnt exactly jive either

They've been very accurate in regards to my bikes, this has been the only exception. And it isn't just the drawing; the '00 diagram lists the incorrect parts and numbers.

My '99 M750 is just the opposite. Mine was dated to March of '99.
