just wanted to make sure, if i can see a little bit of daylight at the top end of the window, thats where i need to be, yes?
thanks
Gitter
Anywhere in the window is fine (bike vertical).
rotated the bars so the reservoir was flat. removed about 1mm of fluid (it was above the window) tested lever feel after that, and it felt a bit less firm....not sure if that was all in my head or if thats actually possible

as long as fluid level is within the window, you're OK . . . so, it must be in your head . . .I usually leave that little gap so that I can see the fluid level, with the heat and humidity here, at times reservoirs are "FULL" and at times customers see "low level" . . the level I set it too!!!
More than likely in your head. The only way air will enter from the reservoir is if the port is uncovered while the lever is squeezed.
This is coming from experience. Keep the fluid well below the full line as too much fluid will leak out from the vent hole and ruin your ride.
