Title: Dismantling Ohlins R&T forks
Post by: SpikeC on February 01, 2015, 04:01:12 PM
Well, not totally, just the bottom. I am going to need to remove the bottom casting and replace it with one that does not have an edge ground off. A fellow at my local dealer seemed to think that it might be an issue. It seems to me that I should be able to just grab it with a big honkin' pipe wrench and twist the sucker off!  [evil]
Am I missing something??

Thanks, Yogi, I have to wonder what brand of heat gun he used. If it was from Horror Frieght that would explane a lot! I have a certified Ohlins guy locally, so I may just take the leg to him.
